Situated in a sacred valley beneath the elevated mountains that separate Huila and Cauca, Inzá is a remote municipality defined by its rich indigenous heritage and incredible fertility. This territory is home to the ancient archaeological park of Tierradentro, and is nourished by the convergence of multiple rivers, creating an ideal environment for coffee cultivation. For years, farmers in this diverse landscape sold their crops to intermediaries who blended their hard work away into generic regional lots. However, since 2003, a passionate group of smallholder producers has partnered directly with Caravela, ensuring their exceptional coffees are recognised and celebrated globally with full traceability. La Piramide is a direct result of these longstanding relationships and a perfect reflection of Inzá's unique terroir.
Whole beans or pre-ground?
Coffee deteriorates much faster once it is ground, making whole beans the ideal way to purchase coffee. If you don't have a grinder though, all good!
